Please dress for the weather!  It's certainly cold and wintry now, and will likely stay that way for a bit!  Students should have an appropriate coat, mitts, (socks?!), warm hat, and outdoor footwear when they head to school for the day. Students will be safe and comfortable if they are dressed for the weather conditions, and they will be expected to be outside for breaks unless the weather is very inclement.  It is also important to have appropriate clothing when riding the bus, as the temperatures on a school bus can drop dramatically in the event of mechanical problems.  We will be asking students to change their wet and snowy footwear, so having two pairs is very important. Stay warm and dry, wear a coat! Hot Lunch at Greystone 2017/2018 We are excited to be able to start up the GCMS hot lunch program again soon! This ordering session will cover the months from October 20th to January 26th.   All orders should be placed online using our ordering system.  You can go to to place your order. To place an order in our system this year all users of the system must create a user account. If you have previously ordered with our system that account is no longer available for use. Go to Click on "Click Here to Register". Enter Access Code "GCHL" Complete the rest of the registration form.  Including your email address will ensure you receive reminder emails for your child's hot lunch order for the upcoming week. Click the "Register Now" button at the bottom of the page. Follow the instructions to add each child in your family who attends Greystone Centennial  MIddle School. Once your child(ren) are registered, click on "Orders". Proceed to order hot lunch for your child(ren). Even if you do not want to place hot lunch orders please register with our system as a user and enter your child(ren) as well. This way you will be assured of receiving up to date email reminders concerning school activities/events before they happen. We only accept hot lunch order payments through PayPal ( You can either pay with a credit card as a PayPal guest (Visa, MasterCard or Amex) or use your own PayPal account. If you would like to place a hot lunch order but online payment will not work for you please email the Hot Lunch Volunteers at and someone will be able to assist you. THE CUT-OFF FOR ENTERING THE FIRST  HOT LUNCH ORDER IS MONDAY  OCTOBER 16th. You have the choice to place all orders of your orders at once or space out your ordering.  As long as you meet the cut-off date for each hot lunch date your order will be placed.  The cut-off date is always the Monday before the hot lunch date.  Payment for the hot lunch must be received before a lunch will be ordered.  Please see the hot lunch website for the actual cut-off dates for each hot lunch date.
